FIFA U20 W/CUP: Man City gives conditions for Iheanacho's release.

Premier League champions Manchester City have said they are willing to release Nigeria starlet Kelechi Iheanacho for next month’s FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand if he came through a game without any concerns.

Iheanacho has been battling various injuries, but he has since returned to training.
“City have said they will release him for the World Cup should he play a game for the reserves or the U19 team and come through without any problems,” a source close to the forward said.
“They want to be sure he is fully fit before he will be released to join the Flying Eagles.”
City stopped Iheanacho from last month’s African Youth Championship in Senegal, insisting he was nursing an injury.
However, they later soft pedaled on the insistence of the player, who again suffered another injury blow just before the AYC began.
The Owerri-born youngster is expected to lead three other Europe-based players to join the Flying Eagles training camp in Germany next month.
The other players are Wilfred Ndidi (Genk, Belgium), Moses Simon (Gent, Belgium) and Isaac Success (Granada, Spain).
